Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme website [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area every day. The company position produced for intervention activities a status sassa higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
